Bill was a good friend and we became fishing buddies in College. I never heard an unkind word from him about anyone. He saw the good in all people. I was fortunate to have reconnected with Bill at the reunion and had our picture made together. I will miss him. Eternal rest my friend.

Hey John. I guess I haven't seen you since sometime in the late '70's or early '80's. I think it was maybe a free concert at one of the parks in Atlanta. I was there visiting my brother Mark. Anyway, I ran across a set of 4 pictures from 5th grade at Wynnton, that included you, Beth Wade, Rick Flannagan and myself. Wynnton has a FB page for the school's alumni and history. Enjoy!
I had the biggest crush on Carson when I was in the 4th grade. I saved up enough money from my paper route to buy her a box of Valentine's Candy (Shaped in a heart) from Dinglewood. I left it on her doorstep addressed to Carson but without a note because I was so afraid to talk to her if she came to the door. I ran away as fast as I could on foot to the safety of my trusty bicycle hidden in the woods. I found out later that I left it at her neighbor's house that was similar in style to her home. The owners deliverred the candy to her later. Somehow Carson knew it was me......(probably the poor penmanship) and thanked me the next school day.
Carson was a real sweetheart. I miss her company and that Mona Lisa smile she always had on her face.
